What becomes of humanity when intelligence is no longer our greatest advantage?

By the year 2075, artificial intelligence has transformed civilization. Disease is rare, energy is abundant, and humanity has achieved things once thought impossible.

Yet one question remains:

What does it truly mean to be human?

The Superintelligence conundrum is a novel about humanity's future—but the questions at the heart of the story belong to all of us today.

The Superintelligence Conundrumgrew out of an inquiry that began for me nearly fifty years ago.

I began by trying to understand myself—my insecurity, my interpretations, my fears and the role I played in creating the results of my own life.

Over the decades, that inquiry followed me through business, relationships, success, failure, EST, Landmark, and an ever-expanding interest in human behavior, science and consciousness.

Eventually, the question changed.

It was no longer simply:

What can I accomplish?

It became:

What causes a human being to experience a satisfying life?

And ultimately:

Must our circumstances become satisfactory before we can experience satisfaction—or can we learn to generate a satisfying state of being?

The Superintelligence Conundrum  became my way of exploring that question through story.

This is not a book written to tell you what to believe.

It is an invitation to question some of the things we have come to believe about ourselves.

Why do human beings fear?

How much of what we experience is created by circumstances—and how much is created by the meaning we give those circumstances?

What happens when intelligence is no longer uniquely human?

And if technology eventually provides nearly everything humanity has spent centuries pursuing, will that finally make us satisfied?

Or will we discover that satisfaction was never something technology could give us?

Those are some of the questions waiting inside The Supperintelligance Conundrum
